My book Pages of a Non-Existent Diary has been included in the library of my all-time favourite museum, the Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona. The library, which opened in 1990, is based around a donation by Tàpies of some 5,000 volumes. Today the collection holds over 48.000 volumes (books and exhibition catalogues), 500 journals and an audiovisual collection with more than 800 titles, among them of course an extensive and unique archive of materials on the work of Antoni Tàpies.
Pages of a Non-Existent Diary includes a chapter about Tàpies’ influence on my own work, so this is for sure the right place to be for the book.
